Officers serve a vital role in the operation of the organization.
The officer roles are divided into three categories:
Executive Team - Consists of the President, President Elect, Past President and Executive Secretary. The President-Elect office is an elected position which moves into the President position and then thePast President office – each with a one-year term. The Executive Secretary is appointed by the board and serves a 3-year term, with a limit of two terms. These individuals are responsible for the strategic direction of WACTE.
Division Officers - Consists of President, President Elect,
Secretary and Treasurer. These officers represent each of the
divisions of WACTE including WVATA, WBEA, WATFACS, WHOE, WMEA, WTEA and
WNRS.
Committees - Most of the important work of any association is
done through committees. Committee service offers the best means to
provide participation, create interest, and give members and opportunity
to serve their profession.
